7.7 Earthquake Shook Indonesia Sumatra

Rocked Jakarta: Indonesia 7.7 earthquake hit the island in the northwest of Sumatra early on Wednesday, which led to the tsunami and short, and send warning residents rushing to high ground. There were sporadic reports of casualties, but there were no immediate reports of only minor damage.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred at 5:15 am (2215 GMT) and was centered 125 miles (205 kilometers) northwest of the port city Sibolga in Sumatra at a depth of 19 miles (31 km). It was said earlier that the quake with a magnitude of 7.8.
