In the video below, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and issues Admiral Robert F.. Williard, commander of the Pacific Fleet in the United States. Watch the Admiral as he responds to Mr. Johnson, “I fear what I fear is that the whole island will become too populated so that more than one party, and turned.”
Occurs at a meeting the Armed Services Committee in the House of Representatives, that the commander responds:
We do not anticipate that. Population and Guam, I think, currently stands at around 175,000, and again, with 8,000 Marines and their families, it’s addition of about 25,000 more than the population.
