Raby, ‘The Wizard of Oz Munchkin actor’, Dies at 94
Died Orange Park, Florida – Meinhardt Raabe (Rah MYN ‘hahrt’ bee), who played the role of the investigator Munchkin in “The Wizard of Oz.”
The owner of the care, Cindy Bosnyak, Rabi died Friday morning at a hospital in the garden of oranges in Florida and was 94 and was one of the few surviving Munchkins from the movie in 1939.
He said Bosnyak complained of a sore throat in his retirement community before collapsing.
