One of the huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico began in the mud beach, which threatens migratory birds, nesting swans, otters along the river and mink islands of Louisiana’s fragile wetlands and barrier.
The Coast Guard said crews in patrol boats and coastal marshes early on Friday, looking for areas that flooded in oil. And warned the National Weather Service storm that could be looming on the horizon payment of tidal water higher than normal through the weekend.
A top aide to President Barack Obama on Friday authorized exploration for new oil is not even the authorities find out what caused the explosion of the rig in deep water horizon. Said David Axelrod, ABC News “Good Morning America” that “is not authorized additional drilling, and will not be something to find out what happened here.” Raise Obama’s recent stop prospecting for many marine areas, including the Atlantic and Gulf regions.
