Whenever you need to book a flight, you should prepare yourself to enter the great unknown. Not only is there a large number of airlines aa possible that you can choose from, but prices fluctuate on a regular basis and you do not really know how much the trip will cost until you start your research. Price is important, but so is your time of departure and the possibility of any stops. You can search for flights to be easy and complicated at the same time, but Hipmunk trying to improve the overall experience.
One of the nice things about this service is that it does not get in your way. You just enter the details of the trip as usual, to determine whether there was a flight would prefer that you wish to use, and then see what options are available to you. There are a large number of filtering options can be used (I do not particularly like the option distress), and the way they are presented flights makes it easy to get a good idea of what is possible. And now the site is only used Orbitz to book tickets, but hopefully it will expand in the future to provide more options.
