Will Joe Quinlan, Sports Director at Seton Hall for the past five years, and resign from his position effective Oct. 8. School announced his decision in a press statement, confirming a report in advance from The Associated Press.
The Quinlan took over the position on September 26, 2005 and had a rocky tenure since then. Supervised at the time of Bobby Gonzalez, and parts of the program of track and field for budgetary reasons and the Star-Ledger reported that he spent the 2009-10 season working without a contract.
I’m proud of what we have achieved over the past five years, “said Quinlan in a press release.” We have dramatically improved our facilities for athletics, including the renovation of Carroll Owen T. Field, and the opening of Jack and Charlotte Avery training center, and the transfer of a program for men’s basketball Prudential Center. Both basketball programs we have are on an equal strong. ”
