Teddy Pendergrass

Teddy Pendergrass
Theodore “Teddy” DeReese Pendergrass, the father (born March 26, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died January 13, 2010) is an American Grammy nominated R & B soul singer and songwriter. The journey began Pendergrass’ when he was a drummer for the Cadillac, which subsequently merged with fellow Spirit Squad Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. After running in the early 70s, including the excellent Grammy-nominated hit, if you do not know me yet, Teddy went solo in 1976. Released a total of 15 studio solo album, including hits such as Love TKO. A car accident in 1982 damaged his spine and left him paralyzed from the waist down with limited use of his arms.
