just wanted to not be a quick post before the race tomorrow. I’d be a cache if I said I was not nervous or did not have any taper madness happens …. I have a reason. Could be two weeks of reduced mileage and not the long-term actually with your head. At the top of that the weather was a constant pain in my side. I had not really thought much of it so some friends have a terrible experience last weekend and then I panicked. I come finally to my senses that there is nothing I can do about the weather and it would not be making abuses if the race due to thunderstorms, and the rich, or short-term high / humidity bad (suck in the heat and just have not gotten to use since it was coming and going all spring).
Even though I woke up today feeling comfortable and ready to roll with all that I am able to do tomorrow. This afternoon I have a couple of miles with a few steps, which I am going to do during my lunch (I do not work in daylight, but I thought it would be best to do this earlier, and after work). Dinner tonight will have a new favorite marathon race, half the meal, the MRT! And Chris was the subway the night before his terrible public relations in the capital and in the following steps I have just Mr. SpeedStud for.
I have agonized I am sharing my goal pace in the race, but what the heck is the point of no (back here in the next day and says “This was as good as I hope,” both will not work). So I will be on three frequency bands (I’m terrible in math, period) for the race. 01:59, 01:57, 01:55 and Oiagafon for A, B, C and goals (I should note that I have a goal (1) to obtain the public relations, but this does not come unless the weather is playing the issue). My money is on the target of an epidemic will be the ultimate speed for tomorrow. Oh, and I’ll note that I am going to be watching how fast I go, as far as how slow I am going. I have learned a valuable lesson and one of the many colleagues I have more experience than hostility, does not exceed your abilities and the pace of the past and unrealistic. I’m taking this matter seriously, and will try not to exceed the pace of 8:45 for any division one mile.
I also want to say a big thank you to everyone that sent me staggering observations such as encouraging. I can not fully express how much it means to me, and I hope to benefit from this encouragement of tomorrow morning. Over the next confidence and mental game that can continue in my head and will be 90% of the challenge. I can not wait to see what I learn about myself, and to take on this challenge.
