New Planet Discovered 2010
Explore the new planet 2010: 581g Gliese planet known moderate – between the planets in our solar system, our planet is the only one who can survive. Scientists have been exploring the universe for quite some time in the search for another planet that could support life. One of the most studied planets is known as the Red Planet Mars because of the possible presence of water. However, based on further research, and the absence of the magnetosphere and its atmosphere too thin to pose a significant challenge to sustain life.
And led a recent study conducted by a team of planet hunters from the University of California (UC) Santa Cruz, and the Carnegie Foundation in Washington to discover the new planet using the Keck Observatory in Hawaii, Wm. Accordingly, the new findings are based on 11 years of observations of the nearby red dwarf star Gliese 581. Gliese is located 58 120 light years from Earth in the constellation Libra.
