Saw 118 newborn MMA legend Randy Couture defeating former world boxing champion, James Tony, without incurring any serious resistance.
In about 15 seconds into the fight, Couture fire successfully in low-income countries in the leg leading Tony, with heavier opponent down to the mat with ease and bounds. Since then, Couture quickly established a dominant position mount and showed complete control over the newcomer MMA. Within a few minutes Couture presented Tony with a triangle choke arm.
One would have to go back to the early UFCs to recall something like this match. In the opening round of the back-Walid I in 1993, fought Royce Gracie boxer Art Jimmerson. Gracie took Jimmerson in the early to the bottom, creating a dominant position mount, and Jimmerson tapped because he found himself completely unable to.
