Ty Smalley is a boy (11 years), who committed suicide earlier this year after being bullied – and his father, Kirk Smalley, makes it his mission to combat bullying and protect other children from this growing problem.
“Selected as the” father of Tai Smalley Watch in this clip CNN “American Morning” video, where he talks more about how he was bullied his son for two years, and the names and called because he was small for his age. Tai Smalley got shoved and pushed a lot of intimidation, when his parents and the school principal said they were told that “boys will be boys” and that he “will be considered.”
Unfortunately, Tai Smalley committed suicide after being suspended from the school to defend himself against the bully.
